Designline Systems - Conditions of Sale

Where credit facilities have been granted, payment is strictly 30 days from date of invoice on all accounts. Failure to pay by the due date may result in further orders being delayed. Interest will be added at the rate of 2% per month to all amounts outstanding after 45 days, calculated from the date of invoice. Where credit facilities are not available, goods must be paid for in full before despatch of an order.

All goods supplied remain the property of Designline Systems until payment in full has been received (including any interest charges that may apply). Notwithstanding that ownership may not have passed to the purchaser, the risk in the goods passes to the purchaser on delivery.

All price lists are subject to revision without notice. The value of an order shall be calculated in accordance with the prices current at the date the order is received. All prices quoted exclude VAT, which shall be added at the applicable rate.

All goods ordered from Designline Systems should be accompanied by a purchase order and can be sent either by fax, post or e-mail.

Orders for goods may be cancelled only with the written agreement of one of the partners of Designline Systems.

All orders will be sent out by Designline Systems chosen courier, normally within 2 working days of receipt of order, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We cannot accept liability for delay in despatch or delivery.

Payment of carriage charges are currently:
Carriage in England: next day delivery up to 10 kgs. £10.00 + VAT
Carriage in England: next day delivery per extra kg over 10 kgs. £0.40 + VAT

Carriage to all other countries is charged at the relevant rates charged by Designline Systems chosen courier at the time of delivery.

A small order surcharge of £2.50 shall be added to all orders under £25.00 excluding carriage and VAT.

All shortages or damage must be notified to Designline Systemsin writing within three days of delivery or no claims can be accepted. Delivery of obviously damaged goods should be refused. Notification should give invoice number, a list of quantities of the products damaged and details of the type of damage. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and returned to Designline Systemson request. The liability of Designline Systemsshall be limited to replacement of shortages or damaged products, or to the cost price of the goods, whichever is agreed by Designline Systems.

No liability can be accepted for any consequential loss or damage whatsoever, however caused.

The sale of goods does not include the copyright or other intellectual property rights in the goods, and the buyer acknowledges the moral rights of the copyright holder. The buyer shall not permit reproduction of the goods.

All contracts will be governed and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England.

Acceptance of the goods implies acceptance of these conditions. These conditions may not be varied except in writing by one of the partners of Designline Systems.
